Need Relief from the Cold? Come Fishing in Key Largo

While the rest of the country is shoveling snow and trying to stay warm,  the weather has been perfect to go charter boat fishing in Key Largo.  The weather has been in the low 60’s with bright sunny skies and our guests have been enjoying the great offshore fishing along Key Largo and Islamorada.  Our boats have also had great success reef fishing as well as wreck fishing.

Our deep sea fishing charters have been landing some nice dolphin (mahi-mahi), wahoo and tuna.  While offshore fishing, we will mostly use live baits and some lures to provide plenty of choices for those trophy sized fish swimming below like a few of the sailfish that we caught this week.  While offshore fishing in Key Largo is quite an adventure, our charter fishing guests also enjoy the great table fare that reef fishing and wreck fishing can provide.  This week our guests have landed some nice mutton snappers and groupers.

Many or our charter fishing guests are surprised by the amount of fresh fish they get to take home after a fishing trip with us.  Also, remember that our friends at the Fish House Restaurant in Key Largo are always ready to cook your catch.  And there is nothing like the taste of a fish you caught only a few hours ago...yum!

As the spring break season approaches, don’t forget to book your fishing charter early.  Although we have the largest fishing fleet in Key Largo, we do book up quickly.  Many of our fishing trips during spring break are with families that have children.  We always welcome children on our fishing charters.  Our captains and mates are more than willing to teach the youngest of anglers how to catch the big ones.  We strongly believe that fishing is a family sport.  So, bring the family down to Key Largo for a fun day of fishing with Key Largo Fishing Adventures.
