The winter is over and spring has arrived along with some great fishing in Key Largo. Boy are we grateful for perfect weather down here. And the seas have been so calm that many of our guests thought they were on a lake. The weather and time of year are providing for some great fishing trips. March has been a great month for Wahoo fishing in Key Largo. Every trip has been coming back with monster sized Wahoo. The Karse family landed an 80 lbs Wahoo while fishing aboard The Soz. For those of you that are unfamiliar with this silver bullet of the sea, Wahoo fishing in Key Largo offers a great fight. And if you are lucky enough to land one, you might get the chance to smoke it. They are one of my favorite fish for smoking.
Our charter fishing guests have been landing the delicious triple tail fish as well as tuna while deep sea fishing. We have also been getting a good bite during our reef fishing trips.
