The SOZ in now located at MM100 at Marina Del Mar and Coconuts Restaurant. Being on the Oceanside will allow for quicker access to the Fishing grounds. The SOZ offers both reef and wreck family fishing in calm waters and offshore fishing.

Winter months we fish the shallow patch reefs for grouper,mutton snapper, yellowtail snapper, ciero mackeral, porgies, sharks and baracuda. We also catch many other species.Summer months we fish the deeper reefs for yellowtail snapper and all the others listed above.

Our reef fishing is an excellent experience for the family, novice and inexperienced anglers, We are always in calmer waters and the action is constant. The Soz also does offshore fishing in Key Largo.

**Key Largo Fishing Rates:

  • 1/2 DAY $600.00-( 4 hrs) Reef Fishing Only
  • Reef fishing in the Florida Keys 1/2 Day $700.00-(5 hrs) Offshore
  • 3/4 Day $800.00-(6.5 hrs) Offshore
  • Full Day $900.00- (8 hrs)
    (rates are based on 6 people maximum)
    Charters include professional captain and mate, tackle, bait, and ice.
  • Mate gratuities are additional(15-20% customary)

Key Largo Fishing Aboard The SOZ

We wanted to follow up our August 9 fishing adventure with a quick note and photo of our experience. We had the privilege of going out on the Soz with Walter and Chris. To sum up our adventure would be "complete success." We caught our limit of 20 Mahi-Mahi by 10:30 in the morning, but it didn't stop there. We went on to catch 2 Wahoo, 1 Trigger and 1 Silver Tuna and had to let 4 more Mahi-Mahi go! We know Walter and Chris' combined knowledge and experience contributed greatly to our success on the water and appreciate how well we were treated while aboard the Soz. Their enthusiasm exuded excitement on every catch for us. We had a great dinner that evening and got to experience what it's like to eat fresh fish that we actually caught!

Our adventure was truly a memorable day and look forward to another adventure in the future. Thank you for all the courtesy and professionalism you and your staff provided.
