Large dolphin plentiful

As the large dolphin are showing up in good numbers, we are also catching nice blackfin tuna and wahoo offshore. The reef fishing is also very good for grouper and snapper. On the inshore patch reefs we are still seeing some nice fish -grouper, snapper and hogfish are plentiful. Both boats had nice catches this week. In the picture are 2 cow dolphin in the 25-30lb range and a nice wahoo of 22 lbs-we also saw a number of smaller dolphin.

Late April Fishing

This past week was a mixed bag as far as the fishing goes-early in the week we were seeing a nice catch of dolphin and wahoo, also a number of sailfish were caught by those fishing for them.When conditions are right we are seeing an improving yellow tail snapper bite, along with a tremendous grouper and snapper bite on the deeper reefs and ledges. As we approach May we will see improving dolphin(mahi-mahi) fishing-remember this is the time of year we see the large bull and cow dolphin coming thru the waters of the upper keys. Call Capt.
